eXile5 Battleblog: Team Immunity Cup
November Update

With none of the main tournaments yet to be announced, Team Immunity have jumped the gun and headed up the first Battlefield 3 tournament to maintain the interest of players. For those of you who don’t know the cup will take place online and will be consisting of a 10v10 competition running for 3 weeks from the 27th of November to around the 18th of December for the Top 8 teams in Australia and New Zealand.The Tournament has a prize pool of around $1800 which includes various prizes for first, second and third places.

The cup is formatted and based on an invite only tournament with one wildcard spot available for new teams interested in competitive gaming. Team eXile5 was one of the prestigious teams that have been invited to play in the Cup. This means the Battlefield Division is working overtime to get everything prepared and strategized so that the team will be able to counter any opposition. Now this Tournament will test the skills of each of the 8 teams as there is a chance for any team to take out the Cup.

Each of the teams has players that have represented themselves over the years in competitive gaming so the skill level required is at the highest peak possible in Australia and New Zealand. The cup will show who shines above the rest and who is the best of the best in the first championship of Battlefield 3.

In other news our team just got a special request on the CyberGamer Community forums to undergo a Battlefield team interview. The one and only Floormassacre represented the team and answered the questioned that were shot at him. The interview contained questions that explained everything from team status, player overviews and even a special mention to the sponsors.
