Last week saw the CyberGamer MEGA One Day CSS Comp begin, with Team eXile5’s Australian CSS team in attendance. The competition saw 32 teams competing in a one day event for placement spots in the upcoming CyberGamer Western Digital Leagues.

The tournament was set out in a round robin format, with the top 2 teams from each pool moving onto the single elimination stages where they battled it out for a spot in the next round.

Team eXile5 made it to the finals after Sequential Gaming bowed out in the semi-final as they were unable to field a team for the final. The final was a best of three series which saw the eXile5 boys go down 2-1 to a well drilled Streamline.GIGA team.

It was an action packed day, with Team eXile5 walking away with 2nd place out of 32 teams who entered.
