14th June 2010, Team Exile 5 takes out 4v4 Battlefield Bad Company 2 competition at xLAN.

Last weekend, xLAN & the World Cyber Games 2010 was held at the TelstraClear Events Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. The competition saw 650 gamers competing in a range of tournaments including CounterStrike 1.6 and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Team eXile5 were in strong attendance, fielding a team for the Logitech Bad Company 2 8v8 Conquest competition and two teams for the ASUS 4v4 Squad Rush competition.

eXile5 took out the Grand Final, beating Team Uprising to win the 4v4 Competition. However the team lost the 8v8 against New Zealand favourites Team Sidewinder who took out the event in style.

jezR, eXile5 content writer said ‘It was a very full on weekend, and Team eXile5 managed to walk away with a 1st placing in the 4v4 ASUS Squad Rush Tournament, and a 2nd placing in the Logitech 8v8 Conquest Cup.’
