Team eXile5 is proud to announce our new Counter Strike 1.6 division has been formed and we would like to welcome them aboard. The new team is made up of some very experienced players who have all banded together to compete under their new x5 name.
Ted "teddyt" Staveley
Emir "Rumil" Kesser
Kevin "ENVY" Makita
Daniel "RooK" Eishou
Anthony "nezzA" Neri
Individual Player Achievements:
All players have played with teams who have placed at high levels. Rumil has competed at an International level with a number 1 team from Turkey - “Dark Passage”. He also achieved an impressive record in Australia placing 2nd at Kode5 Australia 2009 with Encore, also placing 3rd two times in a row with XG at AINC 2008 and WCG 2008. RooK and ENVY placing 3rd two times in a row with XG at AINC and WCG. nezzA placing 4th with aShock and 4th at WCG 08 along with teddyt. teddyt also placed 3/4th with XG at kode5 2009.
The new team will be our premier LAN team coming from Sydney and Melbourne, hoping to compete in some of the big comps such as WCG Nationals and AINC representing our sponsors in the public. On top of the LAN comps they also intend to compete in as many online tournaments as possible in order to better themselves and compete to win.
The players have all been part of some top tier teams before with players coming from XG, Encore and iCHOR to name a few where they have competed previously in events like KODE5, WCG and AINC.
Ted "teddyt" Staveley had the following to say about joining:
The players came together from meeting each other at KODE5 recently after playing in numerous teams over past year and discussed about building a team together based on former friendships and sharing the same goals. I had been interested in joining exile5 with a 1.6 division for a few months now but feel this was the right time to do it with these players and numerous major comps coming up this year being apart of Team eXile5 will help greatly with them already providing for our online needs. We look forward to working with the new division closely and meeting them at these Major LAN Comps and we wish them all the best on behalf of Team eXile5.
