Team eXile5 is proud to announce our new Day of Defeat Division: Tuckermax
Tuckermax was formed on the 8th of August 2008 (08/08/08... creepy) with a mix of old talent and rising stars. The team holds a collective goal to be competitive at the top tier of Day of Defeat source. “Our team’s inception was timed with the beginning of the fourth GameArena DoD: source season. The GameArena DOD source ladders have been the Australian pinnacle of competition and continue to be extremely competitive. Currently we are competing in both the GameArena ladder and the Ratsgaming league, which we are ranked first and seeded first respectively. We aim to continue to compete at the top tier in all respectable DOD source competitions in Australia; this also includes the well-funded Cybergamer community.”
Tuckermax is looking at expanding its horizons by soon moving from playing not only
in the online arena, but competing in domestic LAN's as well. “If the circumstances fall in our favour and we continue to compete at the top echelon of Australian Day of defeat, we also aspire to putting the Australian flag on the map by competing abroad in the extremely competitive European circuit. Multigaming organisations have had a long lasting history of investing into Day of Defeat: Source teams, with popular names such as redux, sequential and zeroRemorse all sporting teams in the past.”
“The integration with eXile 5 will gain exposure for this strong gaming brand into a different gaming community”
“We are no different to any other team. We have fun playing our game and naturally we also like to win. We are an extremely competitive side which has been participating at the fore front of DoD: Source since it was created.”
This division’s goals as part of eXile5 are to -
1. Build in the level of professionalism within eXile5 and to generate exposure for this gaming brand.
2. Being at the top tier of Australian DoD, we would like to promote professionalism in the community using eXile5 brand. We believe that representing eXile5 well will generate this positive exposure.
3. Additionally we are hoping the relationship will work in reverse, with gamers in Australia who follow eXile5 recognising Day of Defeat: source as a highly competitive game, giving our gaming community more exposure.
The following is a list of our players-
Downcast(C), Nofsky, Markbar, VC, Thom, Netch, Mad.cow, Burton, DannyGrim
eXile5 proudly welcomes Tuckermax as our new DoD source division. We look forward to working with them and their online gaming community.
