eXile5 vs RiceRickets Cevo-i grand final
The last time these two teams came up against each other RiceRockets were the only team in Cevo-I who had beat the favourites on Dust 2 during overtime in round 6. As the grand final approached the rules were changed to who ever won the knife fight got to choose map or side. eXile5 won the knife and wanted Dust 2, the map they had lost to RiceRockets earlier in the season.
eXile5 came into the finals with 2 wins (16-8 vs TRAiNWRECK on train, 16-6 vs GentlemeN on inferno) and 2 lives as RiceRockets was in the lower bracket. First round starting as the Terrorist side, eXile 5 won which automatically gave the team the advantage coming into the final. First gun round RiceRockets won bringing the game 3-1 to eXile5, 5th round eXile5 used a very standard rush to Bomb B and got the entry frags to bring the game to 4-1. RiceRockets eco the next 2 rounds and the game is brought to 6-1 in favour of eXile5. RiceRockets buy up using their cash but x5.Dread takes three enemies down leaving him sitting on 15 frags at the end of the eighth round the 8th round. This forces RiceRockets to eco yet again.
eXile5 get stomped next round by flab and bringing the game scores to 8-2.Unfazed eXile5 win the next round but get taken down the round after leaving the scores at 9-3 in eXile5's favour. eXile 5 finally take down the first half at 12-3.
The second half begins with very aggressive play by eXile5 seeing them take out the first round after a 2v2 retake. RiceRockets play desperate and buy an AK’s on the second round yet don’t win the round forcing them into a very uncomfortable situation with hardly any money for the rest of the game. RiceRockets half buy for the remaining rounds but the advantage has sunk in. eXile5 win all the rounds they need, winning the Cevo-I Season 4 16-4 and with a prize money of $1000 dollars and an invite to Cevo-P next season.
Slight changes to the eXile5 team lineup include picking up ex Cevo-P players 403 and Subberz. Dash will be sitting out next season but will still be sitting on the bench as eXile5 enter Cevo-P season 5
eXile current lineup:
