Today at Exile-5, we bid our Counter Strike Source team farewell after a successful and eventful run with us.

After a long and successful journey for our Counter Strike Source team they have decided to call it quits. The team has had some amazing success’s finishing 3rd in Season 5 of the prestigious CEVO Professional League as well as 1st placing in last season's CEVO Intermediate League where they took home $1000.

The Exile-5 CSS Team, formerly known as 'Virtue' are a Queensland based team, widely known throughout the Australian Source Community as a top tier powerhouse team. They have competed and achieved fantastic results at various prestigious LAN and Online events. These include the CEVO Professional League (CEVO-P) and the Anything Interactive National Cup (AINC). As the team continued to enter every match with all guns blazing, real life and other commitments began to show its strain on members and their ability to commit time and effort to maintain playing at a top tier level. Thus the team made the decision to retire after playing out Season 5 of CEVO-P.

The members here at Team Exile-5 wish to congratulate and extend our thanks to all the members of our Counter Strike Source team, for their perseverance and head strong attitude in achieving the best possible result for our organization in every match they had played. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours, and hope to see the boys return with vengeance in the near future.

Shane 'trick' Quelch - Division Captain:

"It is a shame that we have had to part ways with Exile-5, but unfortunately real life commitments and issues have forced our team to part ways. I am proud to have had the opportunity to play for Exile-5, a true example of a Professional Gaming Organization and what it should be like. To achieve great results such as placing third in CEVO-P and winning CEVO-I under the Exile-5 banner has been a truly exciting and amazing experience for my team and myself. I would like to wish to thank the staff at Exile-5 who have been very helpful to us on countless occasions, and also wish the organization all the best in the future."

Jonathan 'fries' Salmon - Corporate Relations:

“Firstly I want to say a huge thanks to the source team. The loss of their commitment, drive, passion, performance and attitudes will be a blow for us here at Exile-5.We are proud of their successes, both in game and out as they have always striven to promote themselves, their fellow members and present a professional approach to themselves. We know the boys will be successful in whatever they do now and encourage them to push themselves to achieve their goals! Go kick ass in other arenas gentlemen, you will always be welcome here.”

Thank You Guys, Good Luck with your Future Endeavors.
