Player & Team Information

1. A representative from your team MUST be in #GESC on GGLIVE at 9:45AM AEDT sharp.
2. Round 1 matches begin at 10:00AM AEDT sharp. Please be in your server with EAC running before 10:00AM.
3. Server details for all group matches will be sent to your teams representative on GGLIVE on the morning of the competition.
4. All match scores should be submitted through the match results thread on the GotGames forums. (Will be created on the day)
5. All forfeit wins should be reported to an event admin. (see point 6).
6. Event admins will be able to support you throughout the day if you experience any difficulties. You can contact us in two ways:
a) On GGLIVE in #GESC

Match Information

1. Matches will start no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
2. Your team must have at least 4 players in the server and in EAC to play. Teams without 4 players in the server after 15 minutes have elapsed will forfeit the match.


Spectator Information

SourceTV will be available for all finals matches and will be posted on the day.

Format & Bracket
Teams have been divided into groups of 4. The top 2 teams from each group will proceed to a 8 team Bo3 single elimination finals bracket. The finals bracket will become active as soon as group stages are completed.

Round 1 – de_dust2
Round 2 – de_train
Round 3 – de_inferno

Round of 8 – bo3
Semi Finals – bo3
Grand Final – bo3

Bo3 Finals Format

Of the 5 maps to chose from each team can eliminate one. Both teams then knife to decide who picks first map, then knife for sides and we proceed as normal. The losing team from the first knife will then pick the 2nd map, leaving only 1 more map if its needed as a decider.

Games against Archaic were a bit of a belting. We'd kind of lost our 'flare' after we'd qualified and i think we went into the game with the wrong attitude. However we did get outplayed both individually and team-wise. It's good to get put in place every now and then and we'll be bootcamping and re-evaluating our playstyle moving up to the LAN on the 11th :)

Never underestimate people at this level.
The best thing about getting a good kicking is it means you stop taking things for granted.
Its good for you, go back to the drawing board and start again.
