Basing the curiosity in this post is derived from some private threads in the forums, but just after an idea on how people hold their Mice.
There are quite a few variations to what could be considered "normal", and I always assumed mine was normal, until I started reading other peoples styles.
Basically, the way I would describe my mouse wielding style would be:
Palm: Central boney part of palm resting hard on the top of the mouse, with a slight cupping of the hand, and the rear of my palm gently resting on the base of the mouse, the rest of the palm, sits slightly away from the mouse.
Thumb: gently grips the left side of the mouse, and operates the thumb buttons, drags on the mousepad unintentionally due to typically sitting below the thumb buttons.
Index finger: is level with the tip of the Lft mouse button, starting on from just over the edge of the left side of the button, and angled slightly toward the middle mouse button. A slight bend of the knuckle is present.
Middle finger: rests on top of the Rght mouse button, offset from the centre of the mouse, with a very slight right angle, ending close to the middle mouse button, with a more significant bend of the knuckle.
Ring finger: rests against the right side of the mouse, tip of the finger is often used to drag on the pad to aid precision.
Pinky finger: rests entirely on the pad, and is adjusted accordingly for optimal mouse pad drag, and precision control.

Not sure what I would call my grip style, and I am curious to see other peoples setups.
