yes it looks like graphis card, but has anybody else had a motherboard that has done this?

I only just remebered about this screeny which i too a couple of weeks ago.

This is the only time i have been able to actually screen shot and alt tab out of one of these episodes.

So any ideas?

i think graphics card.
i get strange things like that sometimes cos mine always overheats, also i have an 8800. other thing it could be is ur memory overheating.
if u can, put ur pc in a room with aircon and turn the temp real low chuck on a jumper and have a round or two to see if it stops happenin. thats wat i have to do at home as my pc sits right next to my window and it heats up real quick while playing bf2, its not to bad with other games tho cos bf2s a monster.

Yep definately the graphics card. I would say its overheating. I had artifacts on the screen when i used to play with my 6800GT.



BTW i just got my ne Killer K1 network card. Just in time for the grand final.

i forgot to say another option would be to get water cooling or a new case but that costs money or would take too long and wont have u playin tonite. also taking the side of ur case off and pointing a desk fan straight at the graphics card mite work.
