Congratulations to the BF2 division of eXile5 for winning NetGameRadio’s BF Masters II Grand Final. An intense battle broke out on the map of Fushe pass, where eXile5 were engaged in combat against the battle-hardened and giant-killing team from the Australian Field Operatives. The full time score was 272 – 0, but this did not truly reflect the quality of the game.

Australian Field Operatives headed into the Grand Final match with a surprise but impressive victory over Team Awaken. eXile5 battled hard against the Australian Vengeance Alliance to gain its spot in the Grand Final too. After last Sundays unforeseen internet issues during the grand final match on Kubra Dam, the scene was set for an intense battle on Fushe Pass to win the BF Masters II competition.

Round 1, the Chinese eXile5 team poured the bulk of their army into the East mine flag to secure the neutral bleed. Then a quick switch up of squad leaders saw eXile5 change their point of attack for a fierce battle to take West mine flag. eXile5 then entered a lock down state once the flag advantage had been secured and got the bleed. While this was happening, an intense attack chopper battle had developed in the skies above. Australian Field Operatives battled hard trying to break the flag advantage which eXile5 had secured, but eXile5’s defences stood strong under the heat of the ensuring battles across the map. The round ended with 120 ticket advantage to eXile5.

Round 2 started with eXile5 having excellent spawns which formulated in a flawless rollout from the USMC main base. eXile5’s attack chopper ruled the skies from the start of the round by downing the Chinese attack chopper on its pad. Quick rollouts from both of eXile5’s attack squads saw both East and West mine flags secured in minutes, leaving Australian Field Operatives on the bleed and with plenty of hard battles ahead in trying to recover the match. To their credit Australian Field Operatives never gave up but the round ended 152 ticket in eXile5’s favour

A big thankyou goes out to NetGameRadio for organising a great competition. Also thanks to all the teams that competed.

Thanks to our scrim partners, Australian Universal Soldiers, Australian Field Operatives and The Devils Infantry. Without their help eXile5 probably wouldn’t have taken out the Grand Final.

Also thanks to our sponsors, Alienware, AMD and ATi for supporting the team with fantastic gaming equipment.

Lastly well done to the whole BF2 division of eXile5 led by Smiley. You have done the team proud.
