Season 1 Clan champs Battleracer was a massive success as well as being a good testing ground for our admins. Season 2 will be kicking off first week in January with new sponsors and prizes. We are looking to increase the number of teams entered for season 2, however, will still be invite only.

We are deffinatley keen to have you guys take part but wanted to get a feel for whether or not you would interested or likely to field a team of 2 drivers one night a week for 10 weeks. If so then i can keep you updated with news, registration details etc etc. If not then i won't bookmark you guys for updates.

Yeah soz, before i got into all the details was just getting a feel for who was keen.

Basically - You will need the MOD - http://battleracer.com/ but it is about to be updated because the stats server - http://bf2stats.battleracer.com/ has been down since August. We are waiting for this to be updated.

Last season - teams were allowed up to 6 registered players but only 2 could compete in each event (this covers afk or holiday issues etc) 10 rounds (1 per week) featured individual qualifying, then 2 races with a reverse grid formation. Points allocated for place finished. We had a few drivers qualifying for world record laps and feature on the stats website (AMF_SOOK and Nitris)

Leaderboard featured individual drivers and another for each clan

Winning clan was awrded $250 (NSOF won)
Winning driver got $50 (Mawpheus won)

We will be taking driver registrations early December for a start first week in January

Everything u need to know will be posted prior to registrations.

Can you please post your source for this? I was an English brick-layer posing as an American student. He correctly posted it to all the college news- groups and then left american students to do all the work spreading it. Is bf2 a game of wits or is the battleracer really a clan based game, suitable for ex5?

You sign up to the *AUS* site, once done, click on signups in the battleracer section of the forums, and ask everyone who is wasnting to participate in the x5 team to join up and post a reply into the thread.

With only 9 days to the 6th of Jan (round 1) i would like to thank all those teams and drivers who have registered for S2 of the Clan champs battleracer. We have 21 teams registered with a cap of 22 so it has been a very successful registration period. There is however, 1 place left for a team and with around 8 teams expressing interest who are not registered you better be quick. Registrations for both teams and drivers officially close 30th December at 9PM so if you still have drivers interested they only have a 2 days left to sign up.

This will be the last post on your forums as all correspondance will be done on the *AUS* site in the battleracer section.

Lastly can all registered drivers make sure they are up to speed with all the rules and happenings for this series as there will be no time on the nights to go through what is required. If you need to register with our TS try and jump on prior the 6th Jan so it is sorted. This is a requirement so you can enable channel commander. All the help you will need is on our forums. Any other questions or queries PM me on the *AUS* forums.
