looking at moving to their 1.5 plans for $60 a month for 75gb.
Wanna know what their pings are like, quality, what speeds u get with their p2p shaping.
oh yea im actually quit intersting to know as well any 1 has idea ?
spach is on exetel.
i am actually interested in the SAME deal :P
was gonna get it before this christmas but too lazy :P
yeh well currently on westnet bundled 1.5 so ill have to leave phone with them i guess when i churn but id save $10 a month and get 15 extra gb through them. or not have the urge to go to 100gb for $100 wiith westnet again fucking my savings up.
i like the idea of their shaping option which gives 2 extra gb when u go over. I hear they do cap p2p during evenings but i think with 1.5 the speed cap shouldnt affect the 150kbs down - usually its for higher ppl like adsl2.

Over in Kenya at the moment. Its faster to watch paint dry than use the internet over here.
Back on topic, I had exetel, pings were ok but they nearly went broke a year ago and they didn't care too much about the customer. They changed prices with no noticed so i quit and went to internode.
didnt you have to swap your phone line to telstra? ie. from exetel (optus line) to internode (telstra line).
only reason i'm with optus and WANT to churn to exetel is because it's freaking annoying to swap phone lines\.
hmm, i cant optus where i live...would that be a problem here
:O
if you get the naked plans for exetel (and get voip) i dont see why it should be a problem
they got like 3gb of quota though :/
really?

not even :P
102gb = 90dollars/month (excluding line rentals blab la blabla)
yeh cant get adsl2 either. Its a telstra only exchange afaik.
but yeh apparently i can get it on adsl1 as it goes through telstra, but optus network is used for adsl2.
