Team Exile5 decides to bacon up!

Starcraft 2 is one of the titles that x5 moved into last year and based on the results and level of community engagement this title is one we wanted to have a lot more involvement with. Therefore it is with great pleasure that we announce that PiG will be joining the ranks of Team Exile5 to represent us as our first Zerg player.

Jared "PiG" Krensel brings a whole range of skill, professionalism and amazing attitude with him so we are honoured and excited to be working with him. We are also looking forward to sending him overseas to some of the major events worldwide this year.

I'm happy to be joining Exile 5. I spent a long time looking for a team that was the right fit for me and was determined not to settle for anything else. I had met and spoken to the Exile 5 management at events in 2012 and really liked their attitude. After a few weeks of discussions, Exile 5 have welcomed me into their team. We both agreed that Exile 5 would be the perfect team for me to represent as we share the same goals for eSports in Australia and around the globe. It's not just about competing at events but also growing a more engaging, exciting and fun eSports scene. Exile 5 have made it clear that results matter and as a competitive gaming team my tournament performances will be the number one priority. But on top of that they are planning to become heavily involved in the Starcraft community with events, livestreams, content and player support.

Personally I am very happy with the professionalism and dedication x5 have shown towards myself throughout our short time knowing each other. I will be competing around Australia and the world this year and I'm excited to represent x5 in my eSports adventure as best I can.

Jared “x5.PiG” Krensel

I am really excited to have PiG on board. He offers a great deal of competitive knowledge, having been a top player in Australia for quite some time now. On top of this he is a genuine, easy to talk to guy who does a great deal for the community. My aim, along with that of Exile 5 is to help him achieve his goals both in Australia and internationally, along with promoting and growing our community in the SEA region.

On a professional note, PiG joining the team only means good things from x5. With both Frustration and PiG streaming most nights, we will be an active force in the community and competitively. We look forward to showing you what we're made of as we approach the next stage of Starcraft 2.

Now onto the personal note... Holy s**t PiG is joining! Being able to work with PiG will be an honour and I can't wait for it to begin. He is a superb player and member of the community and my excitement of what x5 will be able to bring in 2013 is huge.

After meeting PiG at several events and talking to him it was apparent he had all the classic hallmarks of a pro player but just as importantly is approachable, friendly and committed to growing his sport. These qualities and his performance meant that we were very excited when he agreed to talk to us about working with Team Exile5. We hope that PiG will be the first of hopefully a few key players to join the x5 ranks this year for SC2 and help us to promote the scene, clan and country to the best of our abilities.

So please all join us in welcoming PiG into the Team Exile5 family. He will be streaming regular games, ladder matches and working with us to run some community matches/events.

Starcraft 2 is going to be huge in 2013 and we look forward to being a big part of it with you all.
